Below are two Congo African Grey babies were hand fed from Day 1. They weighed

10 grams after hatching, and as of 01/05/05, they were well over 250 grams.

HEATHER and RUKA

Heather is Ruka's new birdie-mommy.

Ruka is one of our Red Factor babies.

In the picture below, you can see some of

the extra red on his belly and, at the left, a

spot on his back. He also has a lot more red

under his wings.

Ruka is still a young bird (hatched on July 17,

2006). The red will increase as he goes

through his molts .

These pictures don't do justice to his

beautiful red color!
