Feathered Treasures began in 1993 with one pair of cockatiels.  Of course, we all know that cockatiels are like potato chips -- you can't have just one, or two, or three ...

We then began acquiring various types of exotic birds for breeding, and kept back some of our babies for future breeders.  Unsure of what we wanted to breed, we set off on an educational tour over the years.           

We now breed Congo African Greys, Poicephalus (Meyers, Senegal & Red-Bellied Parrots), Pacific Parrotlet mutations, and Hahns Mini Macaws.  Occasionally we have Lovebirds from one special pair.

We specialize in PACIFIC PARROTLETS:

     Dominant Green Pied (df) and Dominant Blue Pied (df);

          Visual Yellow; Normal Green; Visual Blue; American White;

               Green single split to Blue OR Yellow;

                    Green double split to Blue AND Yellow;

          Visual Yellow split to Blue, Visual Blue split to Yellow;

               Green split to American White.

By settling on a few select species,

we are able to maintain a well-balanced aviary

and very healthy & happy breeding pairs.
